The Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe, received a delegation led by the Executive Secretary of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) in his office and gave a report on the work of the organization.
The Executive Secretary of the organization, Mr. Robert Floyd, gave an explanation to the Speaker of the People’s Assembly about the process of joining the organization in Somalia and how it can be used.
The chairman of the BJFS People’s Assembly, Mr. Sheikh Adan Madobe, has published the visit of the secretary of this organization to Mogadishu, after their meeting in Vienna and delivered his message to the country, noting that the important work done by the organization should be taken advantage of.
The CTBT is the basis for the campaign to ban nuclear weapons and explosives, working on the historic treaty on the prohibition of the proliferation of nuclear weapons and preventing the serious health and environmental effects of nuclear tests.1
